About Dalor: renting and lending in Austria

Dalor (dalor.at) is an online marketplace in Austria where private people, sole traders and companies rent out, rent, buy and sell items. Only verified lenders and sellers can publish listings. Payment runs through Dalor in euros, and the money reaches the lender only after the handover, and for rentals the return, is confirmed with photos and a 24-hour window passes without a dispute. Dalor is available in German and English.

What is Dalor?

Dalor is a marketplace for things you can rent or buy, such as a drill for a weekend or a tent for a holiday. A listing can be for rent, for sale or both.

Renters and buyers only need an account with an email address and password. Anyone who lists an item verifies their identity first.

Why rent instead of buy?

Many things are only needed a few times. Renting means you pay only for the days you use them and need no space to store them.

Lenders earn money from things that would otherwise sit unused. And every item shared by several people does not have to be bought several times.

Who can list items on Dalor?

Private people, sole traders and companies. Private people verify their identity (KYC); sole traders and companies complete business verification (KYB) with company name, VAT ID (UID) and company register number.
